The National eDNA Reference Centre has set up a network of collaborating centres with the experts in the field of eDNA sampling and analysis across Australia and New Zealand.

Become a collaborating centre

The National eDNA Reference Centre manages a growing network of collaborating centres that have undergone an application and proficiency testing process. Benefits of being a collaborating centre include having access to the following:

 

  1. Access to tested, validated and optimised eDNA assays developed by the Australian eDNA Collaborative Network
  2. Access to Standard Operating Procedures created and tested by the Australian eDNA Collaborative Network
  3. Updates on all assays and Standard Operating Procedures as part of yearly testing and reassessment of assay components, reagents and procedures.
  4. Recognition by the eDNA Reference Centre of maintaining recognised Australian standards for eDNA testing and proficiency in testing environmental matrices for trace DNA/RNA
