Part of the Victorian Government’s Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), Agriculture Victoria supports a strong, innovative, sustainable agriculture, food and fibre sector. It works with the community and industry to enhance productivity, improve animal welfare, connect the sector with international markets, create jobs, support growth and maintain effective biosecurity.
There is a dedicated Agriculture Victoria Research division that works alongside industry and research institutions to modernise Victorian agriculture through its research, innovation, investment, and education.
