EcoDNA is a research & development team focused on the translation of the latest in eDNA technologies for applied nature positive solutions in biosecurity and biodiversity for Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Development of custom assays for detection of known targeted organisms, that are validated for specificity and sensitivity. High throughput sequencing workflows for metabarcoding applications.
Providing tools for natural capital data analysis such as generating baseline data for nature-related risk and opportunity assessment, threatened species monitoring, and monitoring restoration projects.
Validated workflows to accurately assess the presence of high priority biosecurity pests at ports of entry to prevent establishment. Providing detection services, analysis and advice for eradication operations when outbreaks occur.
We partner with a wide range of government agencies and private companies, to provide the research and development required to deliver innovative eDNA technology with the appropriate quality assurance/quality control for particular applications.
