South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) is the research arm of the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) and provides a range of services and research publications to primary producers, industries and organisations. Their modern facilities, skilled staff, and rigorous principles make them a world science leader. 


The Molecular Diagnostic Centre (MDC) sits within SARDI and partners with the National eDNA Reference Centre to deliver specific diagnostic of high priority plant pests (HPPPs). The MDC has specific expertise in high throughput processing, DNA extraction and qPCR analysis of large environmental samples
